Dirt devil hepa filter
If your after some more information about the dirt devil hepa filter then your in the right place. Maybe your looking to change your current dirt devil filter or maybe your just after some extra information which ever the case you will find some helpful information below.
Your first question is probably what does HEPA stand for, well its high-efficiency particulate air. These types of filters have been specially designed to remove 99% of the particles in the dust. These filters are made from a fiberglass type of material which is what provides such a high effective dust free result.
Particles that are 0.3 microns or bigger are kept out when using the dirt devil hepa filter and that basically means that they are very effective at catching pet hair, human hair, general dust particles and pretty much any other particles that are pushed through it.
That was a bit techincal i know but its always good to understand a few basics. The way this all works with your vacuum is your vac sucks up air from your carpet and into your vacuum or hoover and with a normal dirt devil vacuum filter a lot of the bigger size dust particles will get filtered out but then the rest including the smaller stuff will get thrown back in the air again. The dirt devil hepa filter however is the best option if you want to keep the air as clean as possible because unlike the standard type filters, HEPA filters remove much more debris and dust before your vacuum spits it back into the air again.
HEPA filters are seen around a lot and sometimes if you dont fully understand exactly how they work then you wont know how they can justify charging more money for them. Standard filters work ok but if you want to keep the dust in your home to a minimum the dirt devil hepa filter is certainly the way to go.
